    Hi @comincon

After reading your post I feel the need to check my understanding of the development direction, given your emphasis on network integration. I also think the development of the sample SoC may be sooner than you described.

Firstly, the sample SoC is, I believe, the device that was taped out to Leti as reported on 14 July. Production of the sample chips by Leti could be quite soon IMO, because there is obviously no delay required for the ReRAM component to be qualified for Leti's fab - presumably an R&D fab. Availability of the test chips, after Leti and Weebit's own checking, will greatly assist the promotion of Weebit's ReRAM to potential customers.

Repeating the same exercise, following qualification of the SoC incorporating Weebit's ReRAM module in SkyWater's fab, will of course take longer. But the end result should be identical test chips to be demonstrated to potential customers and experienced by them.

We have already heard that the test SoC will have several components, including a RISC-V
microcontroller (MCU), system interfaces, Static Random-Access Memory (SRAM) and peripherals in addition to Weebit's ReRAM module, which itself consists of the ReRAM array and the controlling memory module that manages how the memory array is accessed.

When potential customers are ready to adopt Weebit's ReRAM, I believe it is the memory module (Array plus controlling module) that such customers will be able to include in the tape-out of their own products. Further, it has been said there are likely to be several choices of ReRAM module configuration available for customer choice to suit their applications. The associated IP licensing has been discussed at length elsewhere.

Now comincom, other than in my first sentence, I have seen no need to mention networking or the development thereof as you have described. In my view this is something on the customers' side and not part of Weebit's process. If the customer requires a network chip that incorporates Weebit's ReRAM or a process control chip that doesn't need to network, Weebit's ReRAM module might be very similar or maybe identical in both cases, or any other example. Am I incorrect in my view or have I maybe misunderstood your intention in discussing network engineers?

I also see the need for a CR as unlikely and I hope we don't see one.

Looking forward to your further views.
