So the largest open pit mine theory is shot to hell. Pure logic... Lynas with a mine 3 miles wide and 1 mile deep is +zillion wheel barrels with another 100 billion tons of native Malaysian 3/4 rock as embankment as Lynas will build the world largest man-made mountain covered in 2mm thick black plastic and a roof too to keep the rain out making all the pyramids of Egypt look like mole hills in a yard.
