I have said before that the "sell first" strategy is fraught with danger, and will almost certainly result in a smaller return for SH. An active seller will accept a lower price than one who sells because the offer is too good to refuse.

Commercialisation needs to become priority number 1 for 4DS and a longer-term strategy disclosed to the market. This would reduce the short-termism associated with the company, which impacts the sp as traders have a field day trading the news cycle.

Our JDA with HGST may now be a hindrance. If what we have has the potential to replace Flash revenue (ala WBT), then WD won't have much interest as it would cannibalise their own revenue streams. This is why they want it as fast as possible - to take some of the DRAM market, which they don't have exposure to.

If 4DS truly have something disruptive, then the best bet may well be to go alone. Get partners on board that support this approach as we are here to gild our own lily, not others.
