Some of you may have read my "election terrorism" thread where I was looking for a stock to short for "insurance" against a terrorism attack during the OZ and US elections, the end result after much discussion being QAN. I haven't taken the short yet and was looking at entering in about two weeks.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what the BA sale will do in the medium to long term to the QAN SP ? My gut feeling is that it is a positive for the company as it gives them more control and that it will have a positive affect on the share price, does anyone disagree ?
