Why would I call the company?

They'll give me some lop sided view of what they see happening....something positive...glossy...forward looking etc.

I just don’t like posts appearing as 100% un-deniable facts or truth when the only way we know if say a takeover is occurring is if the company releases an ASX statement saying "we received a takeover offer".

Opinions are fine but you should state them as such.. especially if you in the Top 10 "favourites" on hotcopper out of 80,000 members?

I know it seems anal but the amount of newbie’s that read forums, see that someone has so many followers, that poster is solid in posts showing charts and conviction.....pretty easy to be led astray a buy on that post.

We could say "hey...but they should be buyer beware...DYOR"....a simple disclaimer in a signature would do the trick...or "imo"...or "I think"...blah blah.

You guys know and know your holders so like the Sandybeachs conviction of NDO receiving a definite takeover as little as 2 months away with oil shooting to $300 a barrel as fact....but a little responsibility could save people a lot of heart ache and problems.

Besides...encouraging others to do research, think, contribute, debate and argue things out means someone like Sandybeachs could learn from them yeah?
