    So it would seem to me that there has been a very carefully orchestrated timeline to this offer.

    Make it while Santos are in a very difficult position to make any bids (given their current merger) and so effectively eliminate the one true opponent to any takeover.

    Pricks lol

    Can't see Beach doing anything, nor Woodside.
