The part I really like is confirmation that the changes they made have further improved AKD1000’s energy efficiency over the engineering samples.
If this chip becomes any more energy efficient it will have to be connected so it can feed energy back to the grid. LOL
The original statement as to the four month delay in sending to TSMC also said that apart from the energy efficiency changes the delay was as a result of customer requests for additional functional blocks.
I would like to think that if Brainchip is responding to customer requests for these blocks that they must have had a reasonable expectation that the customers would convert if they did this successfully.
This production run of AKD1000 has been a complete success so this is looking very positive for customer signings.
