If it is several orders better than NAND flash, then the endurance is not an issue Khoutam. Definitely worth sacrificing some endurance for read speed in that case.
However, Retention is more important for non-volatile memory. Put a 1 in, get a 1 back even after a period of time. When they talk about "tuning retention", what exactly are they aiming for here?
Yield is the most important thing for the economics of the chip. You can have the best chip in the world, but if it has low yield off the wafer that means it will never be profitable.
4DS need to be much clearer on these last two items.
