And this is precisely where the ‘PROOF OF CONCEPT CUSTOMERS’ come into play.

We know they definitely exist because the former CEO last year, 2020, first mentioned them and Anil Mankar at the 2021 Ai Field Day specifically mentioned them as making up part of the 10 plus customers waiting on the release of the AKD1000.

The very basic logic that I rely upon to be extremely confident of commercial deals being signed with proof of concept customers is that they have been waiting to see if AKD1000 works to spec having trialed the ADE, the MetaTF, the engineering AKD1000 and the announcement today states as fact that:

1. AKD1000 now uses less power than the engineering chip;

2. AKD1000 has added blocks to meet customer requests; and

3. AKD1000 works better than the inventor, engineers and data scientists at Brainchip expected and out performs the AKD1000 engineering samples.

It is now illogical not to expect the ‘PROOF OF CONCEPT’ customers to sign on the dotted line.

Also throw into this mix everything you should know about the ending of Moore’s Law and the need for a game changing technology to supplement Von Neumann architecture and the need to control carbon emissions and you even have market forces pushing for these ‘PROOF OF CONCEPT’ customers to sign.

PS: It is also my opinion that companies like DELL, Valeo, Renesas, Ford, Vorago, Biotome, NaNose, even NASA do not consult MF or the AFR before making technology purchase decisions.
