because they can't keep indefinitely doing CR's and issuing shares as the SOI will blow right out. SP will continue to flounder if status quo maintained as the MC is spread over all those shares.
yes consols are a last resort but to maintain value in a company and to allow for future CR's the SOI need to be relatively low - all imo.
