4DS - Anything but Charting, page-19635

Looks like the inclusion of the no established market statement is to explain the purpose of the next platform lot testing... my humble view is the plan they've developed is either:
> responding to questions raised by their joint development partners who have said - this looks great, but we need more details before splahing cash - show me how it works in a/b/c configurations
> gathering more info to demonstrate the capability in different configurations for a broader audience.

So by exploring the trade offs between speed/retention/endurance etc. they can find a buyer who says "thats the config that will be most commerically viable for us, lets make a deal"

The comments on here seem reflect the nature of people's investment expectations, particurlarly the timing of the transaction:
> Group A - negative: seems to be saying: "we want a better worded announcment and the technical details" probably because they're hunting for a quick win and were betting on the transaction being 2021 (which to be fair was an expectation created by managment)
vs
> Group B - optimisitic: "happy to take more time to let the engineers deliver a better product" probably because they're happy for their investment to sit and hunt the end game, not too put off by timelines (so long as the next steps and timelines make sense to them).

Both are completely apropriate sentiments, but really does seem to relate to investment expectations.

4DS have engineers running the company, that hasn't changed. So engineers are going to focus more on the product and letting that do the talking than wording their announcements for SP now... For the two groups of investors this is good and bad. Group a = bad because they're less likely to be strategic about the wording and its influence on short term share price. Group B = good because the technbical process gets the focus so that they delievr a stronger proudct...

Other companies might have better wordsmiths, but do they have the same engineering chops? (this is a genuine question, not a statement disguised as a question).

would be nice to have both at 4DS...
