I agree its BHP imho who is going to take UMC out.

The deal with the chinese is going to be cancelled and otherwise they will be forced to sell their newly aquired shares in UMC.

The take-over value per share will be around $1.90 imho.

BHP would not get a junior in their way, and right on their tenement boundries starting an iron ore mine.

Because BHP believes that promised land of the pilbara with the holy railway lines only belongs to them and Rio.

A high grade rich iron ore resource on their boundries can not become a chinese playground.

Small price to pay the keep the intruders at bay.

My two cents for what its worth , and ofcourse I could be totally wrong.
