I'm surprised by this open-ended arrangement.

Used to be that deals with China was considered worth having. Guess the cat's out of the bag on that one.

Strikes me, as soon as you see 'develop and manufacture' powdered dairy products in China' you might get the notion that as soon as they're 'developed' it kind of rings the death-knell of of a win-win for BOTH parties and all of a sudden you find out any sweetheart arrangment is over.

China has plenty of it's own dairy product manufacturing resources in NZ - in fact I think it owns most of NZ thanks to Ardern's clever management of behalf of her(?) people.

I'd say whatever has been 'developed' with whatever this crowd's name is this week will ultimately be made by a Chinese producer.

Maybe there's a bit of dosh to be made on the way but, looking at the non-existent get-out clause it won't be for long.

The additional danger is, once the inevitable, (and pre-warned), split happens will it mean whatever has been 'developed' will be at the expense of diminishing the opportunity of a market as the Chinese business takes it over.

    But, what would I know?

    Sound like fun coming.
