I tend to agree LDKS, but when was the last time a club had two forwards of the calibre of Brown and a 'focussed' Fevola? Just curious, as I'm only a relatively new supporter of Aussie Rules.
Wouldn't the presence of those two upfront also create opportunities for Brisbane in the midfield?? Only asking, as I'm no expert.
Voss is obviously backing himself to be able to strike up a good working relationship with Fevola and bring out the best in him. That may prove quite presumptuous and even foolish on Voss's part, but I think it's worth the risk. If he is able to keep Fevola focussed, this could surely be a potentially flag winning move. Something tells me that Voss may just be the coach that Fevola responds to.
Personally, I can't quite fathom why Carlton were so hell bent of getting rid of Fevola. Did he really do that much wrong throughout the season? Sure, he made a complete tool of himself at the Brownlow, but in terms of his football, was that such a big issue??
Just curious.....
