The problem is when I got issued the options statements, there were no forms or instructions on how to excise the unlisted options. Hence I contacted the company about this. Also it looks like others may be in the same boat.
On the other hand, another company which I won't name here gave me the option statement PLUS the form and payment instructions to excise the options if you wanted to do it before the expiry date (which is usually a good idea if you expect in one years time the share price will hold or increase as in our case)
In summary, I think Link market services did not clearly state what to do about the options - hence why their share price is not doing well.
