I share the same sentiments. Initial confusion - why get someone from a packaging business? Then read further on his other experiences and ended up satisfied with the appointment.
I'm glad they went local, the temptation would have been there, given their expanding communications business to chase a big shot in the U.S, which would have made me super nervous.
Too many yanks are out to make a name for themselves, take on excessive risk and build an empire, while getting shareholders to foot the bill with repeated capital raisings, as return on capital falls.
