Bounce off the 80 usd ish in ore futures
overnight 639 y from low 614 yesterday
fmg did incredible well again yesterday considering the move in ore futures again
seems evergrande is now being reported as officially defaulting on 148 m due following the end of the 30 day grace period - will be interesting to see how the credit market handles the news as low grade credit for developers in China was about 22 percent yesterday I saw on Bloomberg - time will tell if there are other cross defaults or dominos and if it affects equity and other markets
furthers and options expiry in oz this morning
seaborne prices for ore fines 58 were showing fmg is profitable still big margin contraction on paper doesn’t seem to dent support at 1391 which is encouraging and a bit surprising to me for the moment
