Meh not sure why everyone gets mad at Football. Everyone has an opinion and should feel free to express theirs. Everyone gets humbled by the market sooner or later. Football called it a sell at 2c, 6c and now 4c. Who cares honestly.

Reality is if EXIM say yes it doesn't matter if this venture will be profitable or not in 5-10 years time - it will almost certainly run to it's NPV before they produce anything.

Take a look at GCY, DCN, MOY or plenty of other commodity stories. Each realised their NPV pre-production and even went over NPV before actually crumbling to their lows today due to operational issues extracting the ore. The market will give you the benefit of the doubt before you produce anything. However the market will absolutely humble you and take you back to lows you never thought possible if you can't make a profit extracting the ore. But that will be a discussion for 2025 - not today.

So my thoughts are it literally doesn't matter what anyone thinks on HC. The only person who matters is the person who says yes/no to EXIM. If it's a yes we will get the benefit of the doubt like all wannabe miners. If not 50% haircut minimum.

Anyone who blindly holds forever though could easily see this investment turn out as bad as those dogs listed earlier - especially in a zinc downturn. But like I said it will be a problem well into the future - not today.

As mentioned previously, if it appeals to Cahill and Downer then they must he happy with their own due diligence to come onto the board which I can only see as a positive for the direction we are heading in.
