Overall pretty upbeat, what did everyone else think? Just need to be patient (well I've been waiting 12 years already, what's another few months...?). There is so much work going on in the background, and many of the delays are out of their hands. You can imagine how difficult it is working with an organisation such as the NHS that he mentioned, with so many regulatory hoops to jump through, goalposts constantly being shifted etc.

The regular RAT tests in Italy for the unvaccinated, that sounded interesting. Regardless of your pro- or anti-vax stance, it does sound like this ought to be something our state governments should consider. Rather than exclude unvaccinateds from society, force them to quit their jobs, or force concerned pregnant women to have the jab etc, mandated regular testing through pharmacies sounds like a much gentler approach, and still effectively halts the spread of covid if the person can be isolated quickly.
