I bought shares between the time periods although I never partcipated in the claim.

I wonder just how many shareholders participating in the claim actually checked the balance sheet on the website before investing and saw that the debt was in the non current liabilities of the company.

Yes I was one of those people but still not partcipating in the claim.

I bet you most people participating in the claim would now say they did when in all likely hood most wouldn't have. Rather they would have been blindly led by brokers and analysts who couldn't give a rats about due dilligence.

One thing its taught me is you have to go even further into assessing risk and actually email the company. If some can prove they did their due dilligence and actually went to that extent then I believe they would have a case.

But few would have and those shareholders who are tough enough to cop the losses on the chin move on and learn from the experience suffer at the expense of greedy lawyers and shareholders.
