    I think uranium has been maligned by the fossil fuel industry since the 1970s, because it is a direct competitive threat.

    During the 1970s, the costs of nuclear power reversed expected downward trend and began to rise significantly due to regulation around ALARA. I believe this was due to lobbying by the fossil fuel industry then and since, to remove the threat of nuclear as a cheap power source.

    The FFI have done a fabulous job convincing the world low dose radiation from uranium power plants is dangerous.

    I'd say you get more dangerous radiation standing in the sunshine.

    As for mining uranium ore, the uranium in the ore itself poses virtually nil risk, making the Greenland decision very odd indeed.

    Not sure why you and Greenland are so anti uranium.
