It would seem that every fund in the RE sector holds the shares it needs to match its portfolio requirements.
This is my reasoning, how many more funds are yet to be created?
We have only touched the beginning of a wave.
If 5 more Van Eck like funds come into existance, how are they going to satisfy their % requirements, 10 more, 15 more, 100 more?
The % of shares needed will not be there for the taking if it was tightly held.
We see what is happening now, bots trading with each other unmarketable parcels with the occassional retail order every now and then.
More than happy to be corrected.
