    FIRB approval should be no problem for CRM for the proposed placement. FIRB will not want to appear any more anti-Asia and this is a small bickies transaction for them.

    A full takeover/scheme would be a bit more uncertain and may face BHP objections - dragging on.

    Agree that the whole process could take many months.
