An LIS battery would cut half the battery weight out of a Tesla and most other EV’s. Thats the equivalent weight saving of 4 adults to do the same range. Tesla is stuck with lithium ion batteries and the weight issues at the moment. That chews range in its self. If a manufacturer changes across to Lis batteries, then they need to change a small part of their existing plant to make that happen. Some Companies are likely to do this and a future manufacturer might go for it from day one. The Nanomesh is the quickest cash flow to fill the gap.
Wait until the world figures this battery out. we should all be proud of some of the science coming out of our universities.
