Well the only value of the CRP levels seems to have been to identify a subgroup from the pre-treatment population. Was that part of the trial protocol? And what happened to the levels post treatment? And what about the other biomarkers that the collected? Was that all a planned analysis too?
Perhaps in all the data dredging the only correlation was with the pre-treatment CRP level?
