Money has never had anything to do with being or not being a refugee.
Would anyone deny that a very rich family that left Nazi Germany and turned up in Britain were refugees?
Generally the point is that they are being persecuted in their home country for one of several race, religious or political reasons.
You and others have had your view of this issue tainted by the unpleasant politics of the late 1990's and after when refugees became a points scoring issue because of increase in arrivals and the measures the Federal government chose to take.
Its not my job to educate you on the realities and so I suggest that you do some research on the definition of a refugee and how it is applied to arrivals in all countries. Thats reading other then Bolt or Ackerman.
You are entitled to your opinion that NO refugees should be allowed to enter Australia except by invitation (assuming that is your position) but please dont deny the facts as they stand.
