When are the greenies going to distinguish between Thermal Coal and Met Coal. The greenies do not seem to comprehend that even if we were going to go anywhere near 50% renewable energy, with say, wind turbines and solar panels, the masses amount of steel required to produce the turbines and the panels require mega tonnes of Met Coal. Nick J. said it well at the Noosa conference where a Tesla car was parked at another recent conference to promote non-petrol driven vehicles, where it takes over 2 tonne of met Coal to produce the car.
The greenie who stopped a coal train and jumped onto one of the carriages to protest against fossil fuels was wearing a haz-mat suit that requires oil to produce it.
Education is definitely required to stop the ignorance.
BCB has a long term prospect and if the likes of BHP need to offload their coal assets, including Met Coal (Sth Walker Creek Mine), just to appease their shareholders, then opportunities like these will come up for BCB. GLTA
