Thanks for the reply Mickem. Always great to hear your thoughts. Under my logic the Chinese directors would have put money in because why not!? Their scheme hadn't been caught out, business was good... no red flags in the company for them apart from a change of management. So why wouldn't they keep supporting the business. This notion that RS was in on it is outrageous. He was one of the most personable and down to earth directors that i'd come across and gave so much time and effort to the company. Someone joked at one agm that if you called the office line on sunday late morning you'd find him in there doing some work. And you know what mate.... I did. I gave the gag a crack and sure enough he was working away. so this notion that him and LF were in on some massive fraud (when they still owned a heap of shares) needs to face a reality check. It really does. I have a lot of respect for what they did to the company and we have tried many Chinese ventures all very unsuccessful. Zhang had a large team and a large company behind him, how would share holder have felt if they didn't give this a go! come on....

As for the waste water who knows what the context is. What if these local gov officials had threatened the shut down the factory (which is a common bribery trick in china especially for foreign businesses). I have no problem giving those people a kick back if it means we don't have to now go else where to build a factory only to then encounter the same issues with new officials. It's a bloody different world there! and sometimes you got to play by there rules. Again and I can not stress this enough, Zhang had the china business. He was running the office there. Micromanaging the Chinese isn't in their cultural identity so it's obvious he would have had some level of autonomy. Keep that in mind before throwing fellow aussies under the bus is all. What the Soy Boys did is outrageous.... we took a gamble in the wild west of business and lost. Good news is that AFP involved. ZZ assets in Australia most certainly under AFP control now. Several million at least. So smile to that lads!
