I actually find it al pretty annoying. Couple signs contract without properly understanding the risks, but still makes a profit anyway. Vendor opportunistically takes advantage of naive couple, keeps deposit and on sell property immediately for further profit. Bank is allegedly slow to process loan documents despite no obligation to process them in anyone else's timeframe, but says 'my bad' and sends the bill (plus a bit extra for the sake of it) to shareholders.
