A man wrongly identified as the man taken into custody over the alleged abduction of four-year-old Cleo Smith has launched a defamation case in the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
Nyamal man Terrance Flowers has taken proceedings against the Seven Network, which mistakenly showed his picture after Cleo was found alive, 18 days after she vanished from her family's tent.
