Don't worry your not the only one, i am in contact with a reasonably large RAC network (Possibly 3% of the SOI) as I'm sure a lot of us are. Its a frustration that a lot of us share and discuss often.

We all understand the reasons of not marketing to pharma yet, As index has said you wouldn't market a house that's not ready for sale (or something along those lines)

Where i struggle is the lack of awareness or attempt to educate "big money" or even worse, if RAC has been approaching insto behind the scenes, why aren't they stumping up funds to soak up BG selling? Retail can obviously see the value, what is RAC doing to help insto see it?

Surely we aren't waiting until the house is ready to sell before approaching insto as well? Taking them on the journey and making money on the way up is the aim of the game. You cant tell me they are sitting there waiting for "more results" with the intention of pulling the trigger at the same time as everyone else and paying through the nose because all the sells get pulled... Common sense says if you know your on to something, get in early.

We also know they get in early because they are pumping 10s of millions into the other company that has tons of competition, fraught with clinical and commercial risk, they definitely aren't waiting until the house is ready.

How many times do we see "targets" being lifted for certain companies by ROTH capital and other major funds? almost every week, yet we have MST at a lower value than our ATH and Morningstar?

I don't think i have personally seen a buyout at more than a 200% premium, So i dare say unless RAC hires someone other than a scientist to start handling the marketing side of things, LinkedIn, Facebook, Interviews, approaching Insto etc than i doubt we will see the kind of returns people are hoping for anytime soon.
