Think you mean blue hydrogen. And yes we need gas before they can do this. And for others, there is a big difference between blue and green hydrogen. Forrest is chasing green while xst is about producing blue. Blue is much cheaper and can be produced now while green is currently too expensive. So until green becomes cheap enough, blue is all the go.
