initially the project will be a battery assembly factory with batteries shipped over from NY and then they will move onto manufacturing the batteries at a later date. What’s holding it up is they need to secure contracts which they have yet to do. They are currently working with QLd Gov, Townsville city council and private companies to secure sales contracts and until they secure enough contracts to make it feasible, nothing will happen at Townsville.
