A lot of investors here are thinking IMM will try to take efti to market themselves and not pursue an acquisition and the there is merit in this opinion but I am of the belief that Merck are waiting in the wings for further proof of concept in regards to the combination of efti and keytruda with these additional 74 patients possibly being the catalyst for an acquisition offer.
Only issue is I believe IMM management and substantial holders know the inherent value of the tech which is multiples above the current market price therefore the justification of a 5-10x premium could be difficult to attain. If the price is right though I think IMM will take the offer.
