Are we about to see Valeo unleash their Akida advantage? There are some facts that suggest it is a real possibility. If not now then certainly sometime in the future.

3. From the BrainChip and MagikEye announcement: BrainChip’s groundbreaking Akida neuromorphic processor is uniquely suited to provide the analytics necessary for manufacturers to implement a complete 3D vision system. With ultra-low
power and the ability to directly process the 3D image generated by the MagikEye sensor, the companies can jointly address gesture recognition in Smart Home applications, such as gaming and other consumer products. Smart Transportation and Smart City applications are additional primary markets for collaboration. This includes Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Vehicles (AV).
4. In a statement made by Brainchip when the Valeo and Brainchip agreement was announced: In a statement to the market this morning, BrainChip said Valeo will utilise Akida and collaborate on the development of neural network processing solutions, for integration in autonomous vehicles (AVs).
