r3s0urc3,
""LOL...has it ever been this quiet here, right after an announcement""
I reckon mrwalker sees things pretty clearly and I think he summed it up pretty well yesterday in this one paragraph;
""Keep selling into the market at these prices and what do you expect? The S/P will not appreciate. Dry up the supply because you believe in what you have invested in and the opposite will happen. M/C will quickly rise, Mr Bank then says "oooohh, that was the last box we needed to tick Mr Matthews, 40mil is nothing compared to the valuation of your company, here's a cheque.""""
Shareholders are their own worst enemy because ultimately they decide if the share price is sold down. The person who dumped stock this morning is a shareholder. He and whoever has been selling lately obviously believe that the current 75 million mkt cap is too Expensive.
Those shareholders that are choosing NOT to sell BKT with a market cap of 183 million obviously believe it's too Cheap. Interesting isn't it ??
How does anyone value a junior company. Probably the most popular way is by drawing comparisons with other companies that have similar assets, situated in similar parts of the world. That is why I have chosen BKT as a good comparison. The two companies are very similar in that respect.
Infact they could not be more similar . Both are graphite companies located in Tanzania . Both have been trying to get funding to build their plants. The fact that one can have a market cap 145% greater then the other is just crazy stuff.
But if you then throw in the additional assets that VRC currently enjoy ; An operating graphite mine producing revenue , a gold asset adjacent to a 360 million mrkt cap company, and a newly acquired Lithium interest next door to RIO Tinto .
When you add all of those to the equation and you still have a mrkt cap of 145% less, then it borders on stupidity.
Why current shareholders would be selling their shares at these prices is a question that I cannot answer. But if you want the share price to rise , if you want the chances of getting funding quicker, if you want this company to become a major player in the battery mineral space { because we have all the ingredients to be just that } that can only be achieved by one action . Trevor has accumulated a good asset mix, he has laid the foundations for which to build on . But he cannot stop shareholders from selling their stock. That is their choice.
Cheers.
