You are incorrect about geothermal not being effective and being unsightly.

Firstly, GDYs plant is located in Innaminka where there is vertually zero population (I think there are 11 people within about 500km excluding GDYs staff). So how can something be unsightly if there is no-one there.

Compare this to Nuclear power stations which are very thirsty for water and therefore would most likely be located on our coastlines. Is this where the majority of our population are?

Geothermal is base load, 24/7 power that doesn't require any fuel or water. It also doesn't produce any waste.

Compare this to nuclear power which requires a fuel source and produces waste, and also requires water. How can this be superior? Nuclear power is old technology.

Good luck trying to employee your nuclear staff in Aust, or attracting overseas people to this country.
