Since the permabulls are incapable of even recognising facts, I'll have a go at providing some comments.

Firstly it's so blindingly obvious what the patents are for, they relate to the complex way voice calls are directed through the network using different data streams and possibly analogue systems as well. They were patented as part of the big sell for World Phone at the IPO. At the time Norwood was trying to provide high quality voice calls end to end across the world. Something Viber, Whatsapp, Skype and others had been doing for years. Nothing on the patent front has happened since and all patents pre date WV. There are no patents for WV.

There are no patents for WV because the idea isn't original and there are no original elements to it. Or none worth protecting.

However the software is protected by copyright, it belongs to Norwood who commissioned and directed the work from their programmers.

There is nothing stopping anyone from writing a new voicemail app, but you can't just copy the Norwood WV app and put your own logo on it.

To the permabulls who can't mount the simplest of arguments and insist on just making up stuff they wish was true, try being critical and thoughtful and you may just find you say something sensible.

The existence of a patent is irrelevant for Norwood, it makes no difference to the execution of whatever it is Norwood are trying to do.
