The litigation lawyers gleefully lining up to “take up the cause”

Their usual sales pitch.
“No win, no cost to the participants “
And they don't say if they lose, (except in the small print)
If costs are awarded against the claimants, the claimants may have to pay the other sides costs.

History show that even when class actions do succeed,
the parasitic litigation lawyers load up their fees and costs and they
finish up with a huge percentage of any proceeds
leaving very little for the actual claimants.

But lets think it through further.

In this specific case.
The shareholders would effectively be suing themselves.
Company funds (shareholders money) would be used to defend the claim.
and this could amount to many tens of $millions.

This very action could mean that there was no money
to order plant and equipment

DUH !

I honestly don't know exactly who or what has caused the delays.

But surely right now with the current dissatisfaction being expressed,
it is a wake up call for all those involved,
and there will be as concerted effort to finalise things.

So I am confident that things will progress more quickly from now on.

I hear you but any class action would be against the directors not the company. Their insurance would pay. But it's a long shot and I wrote it out of frustration.
