re: crr Swag,
You're question implies pure and simple bad faith by DP. The point is he was trying to maximise the company's interest and extract a fee from CRR which as I've suggested was not a bad idea in the abstract.... if it was possible.
However, in the actual context of the financial crisis and the demeanour of Mr Zhao, it became obvious pretty quickly that this was a most unwise move in my opinion. Once it was clear that they were extremely annoyed that should have been the end of it.
But as for Double Link DP had no duty to talk to Double Link for obvious reasons other than to get some feedback about how the Chinese were reacting in their own language.
DLink was simply an agent and of course had an interest in the outcome. That was precisely why they kept out of the picture as far as possible. They are professionals and didn't want to be seen to influencing matters.
This point brings up the whole colour of Hot Copper posts and the way it functions. It is has drifted into a grafitti mentality. In the real world even arch enemies in business manage basic civilities. Business may be another form of war but there are rules of engagement.
Many Hot Copper posters seem to forget this. If it is used simply as an abuse board it has little value and is detrimental to serious discussion about shares.
For a start these pass words names don't provide the anonymity that many seem to think they do. They are disclosable and therefore actionable. Defammation behind a mask remains defammation .
But just as importanly to drown a good argument abuse simply kills it. People looking for logic are turned off bby the self- indulgence and spleen.
