The absorbing questions are: what happens from now till AVRO expiry?
If we agree that there's a big turnover of AVRO - and it matters not particularly by whom, be it SB or any other - then AVRO trade price falls or stays low, no?
In which case anyone intersted in acquiring AVR heads could well consider buying options instead, and paying the $8.00 conversion before 18th dec. Seems to me that this would have the effect of dampening the AVR price for the next 3 weeks.
And after the 18th?
If I'm correct in my assertion that AVRO holders offloading has that effect on AVR, then once that effect is done, will AVR have a hop up?
My burning question is how much I'm prepared to cough up to convert my AVRO: they're not worth much on their own as a tradable item, but if the brakes come off on AVR, then digging deep to convert now makes sense.
I admit to being rather anxious about the situation.
Regards,
P
