LOL a few thousand people stretched out in the confined space of streets can make some think
there were more than there actually were. I have seen in past years public sector rallies/protests that
seemed to go for kms in CBD streets but it did not alter the fact that they numbered no more than a few thousand..
The truth is that the current protesters are disparate groups on the fringes with different agendas.
Some are anti vaxxers , some are anti authority, some are Far right using the protests for their sick
agenda, others are political opportunists.
With over 80% of Australia's population being fully vaccinated that in itself would tell you that the protestors
are the fringe of society. The fools are gathering in packs and enhancing the chances of themselves winding up in
hospital with Covid. Melbourne still has many cases in particular and NSW has enough to cause a spike there and the
protests will no doubt have turbo charged that possibility.
In WA, SA, and Qld given they have managed Covid extremely well, the dumb ass protesters there are safe because
there is no Covid yet.. They dont realise that what they are protesting against is what is ensuring their own safety and the
safety of their loved ones. Sad but the Covid pressure that will come their way at some point will be through their own
ill-informed decisions.
