Socrates would have torn your views into shreds.... he would have shown you where your erroneous beliefs trapped you into a dissonance that placed you in danger.

at the ultimate end of Socrates life he was vilified by those in power and the lobbyists for undermining confidence in the status quo and the myths that enabled the corruption of the state.

Socrates was an independent thinker of the highest order. he would eschew partisan duopoly and policies that harm the community.

    to paraphrase Socrates,:
    • Strong minds have control over their thoughts and think with the evidence rather than beliefs,
    • Average minds watch will things happen and discuss the events in terms of right or wrong, black and white.... they miss the nuance and the scale of difference which is subtle and does not exclude 'others', such as yourself and myself
    • Weak minds cannot discuss events but only the people who cause events.

but even Socrates had not the vision to see the future as the world has developed. in truth all 3 aspects of mind, the brain thinking, conscious thinking and the judgement of the higher self are important to discuss. I believe the subtlety and nuance was lost in the interpretation which created your meme..... its simplistic and self-limiting, places people in a box of 'strong', 'average' and 'weak'..... this isn't how Socrates worked.
