Johnson & Johnson:
BOSTON (MarketWatch) -- Johnson & Johnson early Tuesday posted third-quarter net income of $3.35 billion, or $1.20 a share, compared with $3.31 billion, or $1.17 a share, for the same quarter in 2008.
Sales slipped 5% to $15.08 billion, from $15.92 billion. According to a recent poll of analysts by FactSet Research, J&J was seen as posting earnings of $1.13 a share, with revenue of $15.19 billion. J&J also raised its 2009 adjusted earnings outlook to the range of $4.54 to $4.59 a share.
