I understand most of what you are saying, but there are key differences regarding the idea that 'the kid just got his shot off first'. I just wanted to clarify because there seems to be some important context missing. Huber (skateboard) was attacking. Grosskreutz (bicep) was attacking, and had started to point his gun at Rittenhouse. As I said to someone previously, someone's incorrect assumption that you are an active shooter does not negate your right to defend yourself. As has been stated many times by various people, the only people Rittenhouse shot were the ones trying to attack him. You could argue that if he had waited a second longer in each of the three cases, and he might have been killed. My big takeaway from this is that it might be an idea to avoid attacking people when in a 'fairly rowdy' mob.
