I'm based in WA, but I stopped watching mainstream news not long after the covid hysteria began. So, other than business or mining news via internet, I haven't seen anything on Winu, on TV yet.
Being a FIFO worker, I have seen on occasions some personnel in Rio Tinto-X Winu uniforms, at the airport. So I guess Winu is inevitably becoming wider known, as it's a Greenfields project, there'll be a lot of construction jobs coming out of it.
But IMO Calibre/Magnum will be moving towards development at the same cracking pace Winu was, before the current engagements with the traditional owners of the area slowed down the development a little bit
