Apologies for stating the obvious, but another shorter started yet another thread on MSB's future - this so clearly the thread to discuss. Its pretty clear we are sat on a ticking call option, that SI just extended the expiration on with the debt deal. It's now all down to OTAT.

SHorting down here is risky. Its a simple array of binary event that holds $1.75 of potential ulimate gain for shorters, each time MSB gets a set back it goes down....but big result..... If MSB gets the nod on potency assays on GVHD, that opens the door on CHF, ARDS and CLBP and many other potential applications down the line. Novartis likely finalise partnership if OTAT is positive. We know where this stock went before. The upside for longs is so much more potentially beneficial.

I am happy to have a big punt on one of the most shorted stocks on the ASX. SI just extended the expiry on the many call options that makes MSB one big call option. Going back to late 2020 when we had four potential successes out there, I had a range of approx. 30-70% probablitiies on those possibilities and the stock was trading $5. My probabilities are not dissimilar now at $1.75. Its a no brainer from an objective statistical perspective.

I just bought in yesterday. Very impressed so far.

It took me a few minutes to figure out what CLBP meant. CLBP was in a slide, but not verbally addressed. Perhaps you already know this.
