Yes Valeo may only be putting LIDAR in high end cars now, but if we're in it think of this;

Automated wipers
Heaters
De-misters
Air-cons
Radios
Electronic windows
Electronic mirror adjusters
ECU (electronic control unit) chips for engine control
and more...
These are just some of the features that started out in high end cars but eventually found their way into EVERY CAR.
