The 400 Janus trucks is obviously just the start of an ongoing growing market. The market is way larger than anything we get to announce. LIS didn't even mention the real size of the market. They seem to be under promising and looking to over deliver. They get the battery pack right in Oz and other companies can retrofit trucks all over the world and fit it into new trucks on a production line. The main game is that an existing battery manufacturer will probably want the LIS battery IP to build these Internationally.
The pilot plant is about making a heap of batteries for heaps of players to do testing. The big players can make their own sample batteries under license before the pilot plant is even built here.
If i was a big battery manufacturer and i can get the science /IP from LIS, then i can make my own and retrofit as many samples as i need.
