All of those here praising the supposed merits and marvels of China and its system don't even live there and probably only know about it through family, holidays or slim business dealings. They're all armchair experts right here from the comfort of Australia, all communicating in their native English.

What was originally a thread about the censorship and suspicious manipulation of a high profile figure, which is now a frequent occurrence in China, has turned into the same old circle jerk of US vs China from the usual suspects. They can view other perversions objectively like an Assange or a Snowden but will always turn a blind eye to anything nefarious out of China.

If the same thing happened to a American or Russian tennis player, no one here would go to the same trouble of rooting and perverting these forum threads so much.
